Bound for Nashville

Soon Amanda will be packing up the pick-up and heading down to Nashville to pursue her dreams. Her story continues below. This bright and talented young lady has learned and grown a great deal in the few months she has spent with us and we will miss her terribly. But we are glad she is going to the big time and hope she remembers us when she gets there.  The Metro Station on May 10 will be her last gig with us so you don't want to miss that one. If the weather permits, we may even be outside in the courtyard!!.

Some more info about Amanda Broadway:  Amanda will graduate in May 08 with a 4 year degree from  St. Rose'  Music Industry program, where she developed a well- rounded education in recording, producing, writing, performing, arranging, legal aspects and artist management. Her final project was the recording of a 30 minute album of original compositions. She has also been continuing to improve her skills as a vocalist with private lessons and live performances, and continues her study of music theory.

She has established an internship in Nashville with a small artist management/ distribution/ publicity company who handles indie artists. The advantage of working with a smaller company is she will have much more opportunity to be directly involved in the marketing and promotion of a few signed artists. Hopefully, the internship will turn into a job. But if not, she will be making plenty of contacts and should have no problem finding one afterwards.

Revolution Hall

The May 9th show at Rev Hall has been cancelled for now. We had a great turnout in Feb thanks to you all and were hoping for a repeat, but it looks like we'll have to wait till the fall. Our summer is booked up so you'll have lots of occasions to come out and get a Groove on.
